Vintage Retro
Vintage or Retro is a modified version of a style that has been once outdated or aged and has come back into fashion. Classic original pieces can often be mixed with modern versions to create an eclectic look. Styles or pieces taken from 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. This becomes a genre of personal taste. From chintz buntings, florals pastel tones and curved furniture in the 1950’s, moulded futuristic shapes from the 1960’s, chunky furniture with a palette of earth tones, mid woods and bold patterns of the 1970’s, gingham, florals and checked fabrics or modern bare brick, reds, blacks and bright blocks of colour in the 1980’s.
