How will my furniture be delivered by Cousins Furniture?
At Cousins Furniture we take great care and pride in delivering furniture safely into your homes. As the last point of contact during your order with us we know how important it is to offer a friendly and professional service that leaves a great lasting impression with our customers.
Cousins Furniture are furniture delivery experts, as a family business we have been delivering furniture into customers’ homes since 1921. Of course as times have changed we have made many changes and improvements to our order processing systems, warehouses, and vans, but at the heart of our business our philosophy remains to offer all of our customers an excellent experience from start to finish.
Customer Choice
Flexibility is key when it comes to offering our customers a great delivery service. Whether you’re looking to furnish your living room or bedroom we want to offer you a great choice of delivery or collection options.
One aspect of our furniture delivery service is that we charge different delivery bands: beginning at £9.95 for small accessories and rugs, £29.95 for large accessories and occasional furniture, £49.95 for mattresses, and £59.95 for standard delivery (such as sofas, dining sets, chest of drawers, and wardrobes). Bedsteads, divan beds and ottomans have two different delivery options; they are either available with self assembly which is £49.95 or we can fully assemble it for you at £79.95.
Depending on the amount and type of furniture you choose to order, you will only pay for the top delivery bracket. This is a great way to save money if you’re looking to buy multiple items to fully furnish a room or the whole house.
Split delivery options are also available for customers who have a selection of items in stock and on order with the supplier. If you are currently in the middle of moving house or putting down new flooring, we can also store your furniture in our warehouse free of charge for up to 8 weeks once in stock. Local Deliveries
Once your furniture is in stock our cash office teams will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date with yourselves. If you are local to our warehouses we offer delivery days between Tuesday and Saturdays.
Cousins Furniture offers a white glove delivery and assembly service into the room of your choice. Our friendly drivers will call you on the morning of your delivery date to confirm your 2 hour timeslot for delivery. Our teams will then place or assemble the furniture for you, allowing you to fully inspect it before they leave, taking the packaging away with them to be recycled.
Our customer and staff safety has been a top priority during the past year, and we have included additional safety measures such as masks and hand sanitisers.

New Vans
Our old vans are currently being phased out to make way for more environmentally friendly ones. Our new vehicles have a category 5 engine, making them cleaner and free of charge in Birmingham’s new clean air zones.
Distance Deliveries
We deliver throughout the UK mainland.
For large items such as beds, sofas, or dining and bedroom furniture we use a specialist furniture courier company to deliver your order. They will contact you directly once they have collected your furniture from our warehouse to arrange a suitable delivery date and to confirm your time slot.
For smaller items and accessories such as clocks and rugs we use UPS. Depending on your location delivery can take 2-5 working days once collected from our warehouse.
In addition to delivering to your house, you may choose to use the UPS Access Point Service. This service allows customers more control over when they receive their order. If you would like to pick your parcel up at a time convenient for you at a nearby location, please use this tool to locate your nearest access point. To enhance your customer service with them further you can also sign up to become a UPS My Choice customer, allowing you even greater flexibility around delivery. All of these details will be discussed in full by our UPS booking team once your order is booked with the courier.
If you live outside the UK mainland you can still discuss delivery with us. You can either arrange for a courier of your choice to collect directly from our warehouse, or we can ship the order to a point of embarkation within the UK. For further information regarding this option, please read more

In Stock Delivery
We carry large stock of many of our best sellers ready to offer quick delivery to our customers. You can choose from a huge selection of quality sofas, dining and bedroom furniture which are available for quick delivery. By choosing one of our in stock furniture items you do not have to wait as long for delivery.
Express Delivery Service
Cousins are pleased to offer a Next Working Day delivery service on selected office and occasional furniture. These express delivery items are delivered the next working day directly by our supplier and are available at great prices.
Click & Collect Service
When ordering online our customers also have the choice to use our free click and collect service, with collection points available from any of our destination showrooms or warehouses. Once your order is in stock and is ready for collection we will contact you immediately to let you know that you can now collect your order at a time convenient to you.
If your furniture or accessory is already in stock at the showroom of your choice then this can reduce the time you have to wait for it to be delivered to your home. It’s also free, so this popular service helps to save you time and money.
