Your donated furniture can be resold through BHF charity shops across the UK, with the proceeds helping to fund life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases.
It's a simple way to clear unwanted furniture from your home while giving it a second life and supporting a worthwhile cause. By donating to the BHF, your old furniture can make a positive difference long after it leaves your home.
How It All Works
This service is free of charge. https://www.bhf.org.uk/cousins-furniture to arrange your collection.
You can contact the British Heart Foundation directly to arrange collection at a time that suits you. Your old
furniture will then be sold through one of their shops, helping to raise money for life-saving research.
What Can I Donate
The British Heart Foundation will accept all furniture, including mattresses and upholstered beds. However, as this furniture will be re-sold through their shops (as well as for quality and safety reasons), they can only collect furniture items from your home which are:
Free from wear and tear, and heavy stains
In a saleable condition
Any upholstery items must include a fully attached valid fire safety label
