Alan Ward orders being fulfilled by Cousins
Cousins Furniture has purchased and are in the process of rebranding the furniture retailer, Alan Ward. This acquisition makes Cousins the largest independent family-run furniture retailer in the Midlands.
Alan Ward Furniture closed its doors at the beginning of lockdown and failed to reopen when other non-essential shops returned last month.
Many of the original orders were cancelled by suppliers due to the non-payment of bills by Alan Ward before they went into liquidation. However, Cousins Furniture have confirmed that they will be fulfilling outstanding orders customers had with Alan Ward. Cousins will be reaching out to all customers who have been affected.
They will also be looking to keep as many previous Alan Ward staff on as possible.
Cousins are also planning to dramatically enhance the in-store experience for the stores which they choose to remain open.
