Cousins Furniture Partners With Black Country Foodbank!

Cousins Furniture proudly announces its most recent charitable efforts with the Black Country Foodbank, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the local community with a focus on the Black Country.

Over 100 local people are employed at Cousins Furniture and at their head office in Oldbury, Sandwell, the staff kindly donated a total of 15 boxes of food and toiletries to the food bank.
Lucy Jordan, Customer Service Representative, said “Customer services here at cousins wanted to help other people out during the cost of living crisis and we wanted to give someone else a better Christmas.”

With deep-rooted ties to the Black Country from the business’ origins of Cole's of Bilston, Cousins Furniture is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of its residents. As a prominent retailer in the home furnishing industry, Cousins Furniture recognises the importance of giving back, especially during challenging times.
The ongoing global situation has heightened the need for assistance, and the company is eager to contribute to the well-being of the Black Country community. The Black Country Foodbank has been a pillar of support for individuals and families facing food insecurity, providing essential resources to those in need. By joining forces with this vital organisation, Cousins Furniture aims to amplify the impact of its charitable efforts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Black Country Foodbank, an organisation that shares our passion for supporting the community," said Robert Shotton, Chairman and Founder of Cousins Furniture. "Our ties to the Black Country run deep, and we believe in the strength of community spirit. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to creating positive change and addressing the immediate needs of our community."

Cousins Furniture encourages its customers, partners, and the broader community to join in this initiative. Whether through financial contributions, non-perishable food donations, or volunteering time, every effort counts in building a stronger, more resilient Black Country.
